RB Health Partners believes that it is important to upkeep education and training for organizations to make sure that they are up to date with industry trends and patient care. Our team of experts offers training workshops in their specific expertise. We also offer private learning experiences through booking directly with us.
We have experts who are licensed in various states and are able to offer education workshop training to your staff with specific knowledge of the state requirements for your organization. In the past, we have traveled to perform workshops in Arizona, Alabama, Kentucky, Florida, South Carolina, and Georgia among other states.

NIPP© Nursing Home Infection Prevention ProgramLength: 18 hours (Typically over 3 days for classroom, virtual may be customized) Course Learning Objectives: Infection Prevention. Instructor/Credentials: A.C. Burke, MA, CIC/Epidemiologist, Vice President of Healthcare Quality at RB Health Partners (we could have a link to the instructor’s bio here) Course Description: This program has been updated to reflect the most current Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) interpretive guidance as well as the most current national guidelines for infection prevention and control (IPC) and antibiotic stewardship. The training includes lectures, knowledge checks and practice problems, discussion questions, and small group activities. The infection preventionist will learn about how to perform their roles and responsibilities and be provided a manual that includes slide sets, tools such as checklists and observation audit forms, and resource pages with references and links to resources to support implementation of their IPC and antibiotic stewardship programs. Training topics include understanding the CMS regulations, quality assurance and performance improvement for infection prevention, standard and transmission-based precautions, environmental cleaning and disinfection, how to perform surveillance and develop process and outcome measures for your IPC and antibiotic stewardship programs, how to analyze, summarize, and present data to support data-driven decision making, risk assessments, water management, employee/occupational health, multi-drug resistant organisms, C. difficile, and antibiotic stewardship. Criteria for Successful Completion Participants who attend all 18 hours of the course will have the opportunity to take an online exam to demonstrate their competency in infection prevention. The exam is a 100 question, open book test to be completed within 30 days with three attempts allowed. Participants who receive a passing score of 80% or above will receive a certificate for successful completion of specialized training in infection prevention and control. Continuing Education Information: RB Health Partners, Inc. is an approved provider of continuing education through CE Broker, Provider #50-2405, and this course is approved for 18 hours continuing education credit by the Florida Board of Nursing and the Florida Board of Nursing Home Administrators.
