Elizabeth (Liz) Raymond has 30+ years of health care experience. Ms. Raymond began her healthcare career as a Nursing Assistant in her home state of Connecticut, where she knew
that Nursing would be her calling.

Ms. Raymond began her Nursing career in Acute Care in Medical Oncology and Nephrology in
both Connecticut and Florida. She then expanded to a Physician Office Practice setting for
10 years. Working first with a Medical Cardiologist, who she assisted in starting and running a successful pacemaker clinic, and then in a multi physician OB/GYN practice. There she served
as a Clinical Supervisor, often providing assistance in operative procedures both in and outpatient.

When the practice experienced a large expansion, Ms. Raymond was promoted to clinical practice manager.

Her focus was assisting single provider physician practices to become part of a multi-specialty group practice by providing clinical guidance and support to her staff in 38 multi-specialty practices throughout the Tampa Bay Area.

In 2000, Ms. Raymond heard the call that brought her back to Long Term Care (LTC), a decision she has never regretted. This allowed her to use her strong clinical knowledge to support the work she refers to as her first professional love… long term care. In LTC, Ms. Raymond has held progressive roles such as Unit Manager, ADON, Risk Manager, Infection Preventionist, DON, and Regional Nurse Consultant. During this time Ms. Raymond became a member of the State and National Directors of Nursing Association and served as the Vice President and President of the Pinellas County FADONA chapter for over 10 years. During her career as President, Ms. Raymond and her local chapter won a Statewide award for her leadership and chapter growth.

Over her career, she has gained valuable experiences and insight while working in a variety of progressive roles, at the facility and regional levels, affording her a wealth of knowledge.

In these positions she gained expertise in many areas to include, but not limited to:

  • Interdisciplinary Process

  • Principals of Risk Management

  • Acute & Medicare Care Practices

  • Skilled Nursing Facility Operations
