Staci Goldstein, MS, C.D.S.

For over three decades, Ms. Goldstein has been working in the field of quality improvement in various health care settings.  She has been in the role of Quality Assurance Coordinator, Director of Quality Improvement, Total Quality Examiner, National Committee for Quality Assurance Specialist, Quality Improvement Consultant, Manager of Health Care Quality and Director of Accreditation Services.

 

Ms. Goldstein has prepared organizations for varying levels of audits, training and competencies, satisfaction surveys, process and program improvement, Continuous Quality Improvement, creation of tools to assist with accreditation, root cause analysis, data collection and outcomes, and Joint Commission Accreditation Surveys.

She has assisted companies with the creation of mission and vision statements as it relates to Quality.

She has worked with the Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce in the role of Total Quality Examiner presenting awards of excellence, using Malcolm Baldridge criteria to businesses and organizations. She has also prepared managed care organizations for National Committee of Quality Assurance Certification as well as preparing departments from a large academic medical center for Joint Commission Accreditation in a major metropolitan city where she also trained with pioneers in the field of Total Quality Management as it relates to health care.  As Director of Quality Improvement, Ms. Goldstein’s role included managing the Credentialing Department of a Managed Behavioral Health Care carve out organization for a national managed care company.  She prepared another Medicaid Managed Behavioral Health Care Organization’s RFP that was successful in awarding the contract that covered 100,000 lives in her role as Chief Operating and Clinical Officer. In this role, she worked with leadership of an academic medical center’s behavioral health contractor and county executives in the Department of Public Welfare. Ms. Goldstein continues to coach Nursing Care Centers and Assisted Living Facilities with obtaining and maintaining Joint Commission Accreditation and in this role has been instrumental in process and outcome improvement in areas of both quality improvement as well as creating a culture of safety.


Ms. Goldstein holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Policy and Administration from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science degree in Health Systems Management from Rush University. The Health Systems Management program at Rush University is rated as one of the top five schools in the country. Ms. Goldstein is also a licensed Assisted Living Facility Administrator in the state of Florida.

  • Knowledge and understanding of working with diverse staff under tight timelines.

 

Ms. Goldstein has a passion for helping others and volunteers with her local Veteran’s nursing home, Intergenerational Songbirds program within a local Assisted Living Facility, Make-a-Wish Charitable Organization, Hillsborough and Pasco County Animal Shelters, and Metropolitan Ministries.

Ms. Goldstein enjoys spending time outdoors with her family kayaking, hiking, swimming, and shelling. She also enjoys Pilates and gardening.
