This 2-hour online self-study course meets the Florida Board of Nursing Home Administrators (NHA) requirement for the biennial Preceptor Refresher. The course reviews the roles and responsibilities of Nursing Home Administrator Preceptors and provides practical guidance on mentorship, adult learning principles, professional expectations, Florida AIT program requirements, documentation, and the Domains of Practice. Participants will strengthen skills needed to effectively supervise and evaluate Administrator-in-Training (AIT) candidates, support ethical and compliant learning experiences, and align training activities with operational, regulatory, and quality priorities. This course satisfies the requirement set forth in FAC 64B10-16.0025(2).
