Director of Health Information Management
Heather Py brings over twenty years of healthcare experience and expertise, with a focus in the long-term care profession. Mrs. Py holds an Associate in Science Degree in Health Information Management from Hodges University. She is an active member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and is certified as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), and Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS). She is an active member of the Florida American Health Information Management Association (FHIMA), as well as a member of Florida Health Care Association and Leading Age.
Mrs. Py is also an active member of the American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing (AAPACN) and holds an advanced certification as Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CTA). Mrs. Py has an extensive background in healthcare compliance, medical coding, and electronic health record implementation.
She is experienced with multiple Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems including MatrixCare, Sigmacare, Point Click Care, and American Health Tech.

In her spare time, Mrs. Py enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, children, grandchildren, and extended family.
