Joshua Henderson, RN, BSN

Joshua Henderson is an accomplished healthcare executive with a strong clinical foundation and two decades of leadership experience in long-term care operations. Beginning his healthcare career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Joshua quickly developed expertise in clinical documentation, regulatory compliance, and care coordination. During his early years in skilled nursing, he gained valuable experience in the Minimum Data Set (MDS) process and served in leadership roles including Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), where he helped guide interdisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality resident care while maintaining regulatory standards.
Driven by a commitment to advancing both clinical quality and operational excellence, Joshua obtained his Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and rapidly progressed into executive leadership roles. He served as Director of Nursing before being promoted to Regional Director of Clinical Services, where he oversaw clinical performance across multiple facilities and led initiatives focused on quality improvement, regulatory readiness, and staff development.
In 2014, Joshua transitioned into operational leadership as Regional Vice President of Operations. In this role, he combined his clinical expertise with strategic management to support facility leaders, improve operational performance, and ensure regulatory compliance across a multi-facility portfolio. His leadership contributed to the successful acquisition and onboarding of new facilities, the implementation of system-wide policies and procedures, and the development of sustainable compliance and quality programs.
Most recently serving as Vice President of Operations, Joshua continues to leverage his clinical insight and operational experience to drive organizational performance. His areas of expertise include regulatory compliance, systems and policy development, clinical and operational integration, staff education and leadership development, and returning underperforming facilities to compliance. Throughout his career—primarily in Texas—Joshua has been recognized for his ability to bridge clinical and operational priorities while building strong teams and delivering measurable improvements in quality and performance.
Joshua’s leadership philosophy centers on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, ensuring that organizations not only meet regulatory standards but also provide exceptional care and outcomes for the residents and communities they serve.
In his spare time, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 sons at sporting events, all outdoor activities including, golf, hunting, fishing and gourmet outdoor cooking.
